  1. I have been reading your blog sometimes and I like it :) I'm in a relationship with an indian and I have visited india twice now. Could you tell about what it's like to travel as a mixed couple in india? As there is a lot of staring and commenting. What problems did you face and did you just ignore the stares and comments? How much time did you spend outside? Did his parents or family know about it? (As we have been travelling "in secret"..). A reply to these would ne really helpful :)

    1. It is a lot of staring for two reasons:
      1) you are a foreigner
      2) interracial couples are a bleak minority :(
People will stare, but 99% it will just be curiosity. But one thing I would mention is some hotels are totally strict about not renting to unmarried couples.
We spent nearly every day outside exploring.
His parents weren't happy, but there was nothing they could do.

    2. How about commenting? Did you face that or other harassment? Did you just ignore and continue?

      Thank you :)

  3. Alex, this is so great! It is wonderful to see that they are featuring more intercultural weddings in general. They ended up featuring my wedding a few years back as well. http://thebigfatindianwedding.com/2013/natalie-rahuls-stylish-maine-fusion-wedding
